Stone Halo is basically five guys who love to spend their off time getting loud and playing killer rock music to great crowds.  Marty Vaughn and Bullet are childhood friends who used to jam together many years ago as youngsters, primarily to meet girls (some things never change).  As the years passed, they decided it had become time to take a second shot at childhood and to see if this whole music thing would work on grown up women as well as it did in high school.  Marty called his friend and fellow guitarist, Dave Hall, who grew up in Lanesboro and has had a musical career that has spanned over two decades, including a stint in California in the 80s (you should see the pics).  For those of you who don't know where Lanesboro is, Dave will tell you that it's in the middle of the music department in heaven.  To answer the drumming question, the group once again reached into their seedy Bloomington past by enlisting yet another old friend, Robb Nielsen.  Robb, like most drummers has been kicked out of...er...has been in many bands, most recently Hero's End.  The final piece of the puzzle was put into place when the group recruited the talents of Rich Salsbury, former front man and harp blower for Dawg Wild.  With that, their steller lineup was finalized.  Now, with three years and many shows behind them, the group is as tight as ever, playing clubs throughout the Twin Cities.  Their focus is on popular classic and modern rock tunes that get the place jumpin' and the ladies dancin'!
See you at a show!!!
